Exciting Summer Camps in Indianapolis
Education Depot’s summer programs offer an exciting and educational break for children. Our summer camps, available for children ages 5-12, are designed to provide fun, hands-on learning experiences while keeping children engaged throughout the summer months. With two Indianapolis locations and Level 4 PTQ certification, we offer a variety of themes and activities to keep your child’s learning journey going all summer long.
We have exciting field trips planned to enrich students’ learning experiences, including visits to:
- Roller Skating
- Conner Prairie
- Indianapolis Indians Game
- Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum
- Nature Parks
- Bowling
- Watch a movie at a local theater
Summer Literacy & Enrichment Program
Our program helps students stay on track with their summer reading assignments while also strengthening their skills in literacy, creative writing, and storytelling. To provide individualized attention, we offer up to six additional tutors, lowering the student-to-teacher ratio for more effective learning and personalized support.
Science Club
An exciting hands-on experience where students explore the wonders of science through fun and interactive projects. From experimenting with water, rocks, and watercolors to engaging in gardening activities, children will learn how to grow flowers and vegetables, developing a sense of self-sufficiency while discovering the science behind nature.
Economics, Stock Market Challenge, & Financial Literacy
In this program, students will explore the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, budgeting, and spending. They will also learn how to track stocks, understand the stock market, and research company performance, giving them practical financial skills.
Daily Living & Health Safety
This program teaches students essential life skills such as good hygiene, healthy eating, cooking, and ironing. We also emphasize personal safety and how to be more self-sufficient in daily life.
Freestyle Friday
Every Friday, students will have the opportunity to engage in open discussions about issues affecting their daily lives. Topics may include politics, religion, peer pressure, or personal responsibility. Through facilitated debates, students will learn coping strategies from guest speakers, including role models from the religious, business, and professional communities.
